ADA was awarded the Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) Construction Management Services for the South Miami Heights Water Treatment Plant (SMHWTP) contract – one of the many initiatives to achieve the Miami-Dade County’s 23-year plan to improve water quality and serve the continued population growth in the southern portion of Miami-Dade County.  ADA will be providing construction management services for a 20 million gallons per day (MGD) nano-filtration membrane softening plant including a 5 MGD water reservoir, high service pump station, post treatment chemicals, electrical rooms, generators and building structures. The scope of services will include assisting WASD with the bidding and evaluation process and construction management of the project including shop drawing review, field services, pay request and change order evaluations, start-up, training, and development of Operations and Maintenance Manuals for the SMHWTP.
