| The firm has been permitting environmental projects for over 23 years. These permits have been obtained from county, state and federal agencies. ADA has prepared and negotiated numerous National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and Environmental Resource Permits (ERP).
One of several requirements for participating in a Brownfield Program is the execution of a Brownfield Site Remediation Agreement (BSRA) with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Aside from the BSRA, ADA has also developed financial and regulatory programs for addressing the redevelopment of brownfields. For several years, ADA was an active contributor to Miami-Dade County 's Brownfield Task Force and Oversight Committee in numerous capabilities. Projects
American Environmental Recycling, Inc.:
ADA has prepared the permit and permit modification packages for the Construction and Demolition (C&D) Landfill and Materials Recycling Facility in South Miami-Dade County. ADA is currently assisting in the operation and management of the facility.
Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Authority Department:
ADA recently completed a Phase I Environmental Audit for a 27 acre tract located South of the North District Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD):
ADA assisted MDAD's engineering department prepare a BSRA and supporting documents for Miami International Airport (MIA). The firm was responsible for all the data collection, interpretation of the brownfield regulatory requirements, financial incentives, review of local government consent order, agency coordination, and preparation of the draft BSRA. In addition, ADA 's team participated in several meetings with the airlines, tenants, and regulatory agencies to outline MIA's brownfield initiative. |
