Projects
Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department Construction Management Team:
As part of the Construction Management Team (CMT), ADA provided field observation on the 102” Force Main crossing of Biscayne Bay and also of questionable construction projects for new force mains and water mains in Southwater Miami-Dade County. Under this contract, ADA assisted in preparing Electrical Power\r Studies at the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Hialeah-Preston Water Treatment Plant.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools:
ADA has designed, permitted and provided construction administration for water main extensions and sewage collection and transmission facilities at over 100 schools in Miami-Dade County. The work also included feasibility studies to change schools that were on septic tanks to sewer.
Land Development Projects Throughout Florida:
ADA has provided water and sewer system designs for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects throughout Florida. Examples include Port Malabar Units 7 and 8 in Palm Bay, Florida that included six pump stations and 12” force main crossing of I-95 using the jack and bore method; the 20-inch force main in Port St. Lucie that included aerial and subaqueous canal crossings and the tie-in into the South Port Wastewater Treatment Plant; the Jellystone Yogi Bear RV Park in De Soto County that included the water and sewer systems as well as the water and wastewater treatment plants; and the feasibility study to modify the sanitary sewer master plan to reduce the amount of pump stations from three to two. |
